Tress is a recent transplant to Anacortes and quickly made the Anacortes Library a frequent destination.  For 20 years, she managed the Audiobook Recording Program at the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library (WTBBL) in Seattle. Tress worked in cooperation with the Seattle Public Library, Washington State Library and The National Library Service for the Blind & Physically Handicapped.  She promoted equal access to library materials, as well as offering enrichment programs, such as spearheading the first art show at WTBBL for people with visual, physical, or learning impairments.
Kandy Dubuque
Kandy studied to be a library technician and worked for The Boeing Company in the Technical Libraries for five years. She moved to Anacortes in 1992 and joined the Fidalgo Island Rotary Club in 1999.  Kandy currently serves as Secretary and Assistant Treasurer.  She is an avid library user and Friends member.
Kay O’Connell
Kay a lifelong bibliomaniac who's enjoyed living in Anacortes for 33 years, while working for the Sno-Isle Libraries in positions from Librarian through Coordinator of Children's Services.  From 2017 through 2019 Kay served as President of the Friends of the Anacortes Public Library.  In 2019 she received the statewide Merit Award from the Washington Library Association as an outstanding library advocate.
Patrick Gallagher
Patrick is an active Friends’ member providing leadership in the transformation of the Friends of the Library webpage.  He serves on the membership committee and has reorganized the membership database.  Before moving to Anacortes, he was an active member of the Friends of the Pacific Grove (CA) Library.  He is a member of the Anacortes Dogs of the Nighttime, a Sherlock Holmes club.  Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and has worked in a university library.
Susan Rooks
